Jonathan marchant

Jonathan Marchant
Head of Senior School

With nearly two decades of experience as a teacher and academic leader in the UK and internationally, Jonathan has held senior positions at some of the UK’s most respected schools.

He was Deputy Head (Academic) at Fettes College in Edinburgh, leading IGCSE, IB Diploma, and A-Level programmes. Prior to that, he was Head of Sixth Form at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, empowering students to excel at top universities worldwide.

Jonathan has also worked internationally, including consulting on new schools in The Bahamas and teaching in Japan. He is passionate about creating the right conditions for every student to thrive academically and personally at Epsom.

Epsom College Malaysia has once again affirmed its commitment to academic excellence, with students achieving outstanding results in the 2025 examination season.

At IGCSE, 82% of grades awarded were A*-B, far surpassing the UK average of 23%. At A-Level, 74% of grades achieved were A*-B, compared with the UK average of 28%.
